Article 4 — Booking and formation of the contract
The Client submits a booking request via the website, specifying the stay dates and the number of occupants, and expressly accepting these terms and conditions (tick box). The request does not constitute a firm booking. The Owner reviews it and, if accepted, sends the Client an email inviting them to pay the deposit (Article 6) via a secure payment link. The booking only becomes firm and final once the deposit has actually been received by the Owner, who then confirms the booking to the Client. Until the deposit is received, the dates may still be offered to other clients.
Article 5 — Rates
The price of the stay is the price indicated to the Client for the requested dates and number of occupants. As a guide: week ~€1,500, weekend ~€500 (varies by season). The price is exclusive of the tourist tax (Article 12), which is charged in addition.

The deposit amount is: – 50% of the price of the stay for a stay costing less than €500; – 30% of the price of the stay for a stay costing €500 or more. In the event of cancellation by the Owner other than for force majeure, the Owner shall refund the Client twice the amount of the deposit paid, in accordance with Article 1590 of the French Civil Code. In the event of force majeure (see definition below), the Owner is released from any obligation and retains the sums received, and the Client may not claim any compensation. Definition of force majeure. Force majeure means any external, unforeseeable and irresistible event (Article 1218 of the French Civil Code) rendering the Property unfit to accommodate the Client or preventing it from being made available in normal habitability and safety conditions. A failure resulting from a lack of maintenance or negligence on the part of the Owner does not constitute force majeure.

The Property is located in the Montélimar Agglomération area, which levies a tourist tax. This tax is due in addition to the price of the stay and is collected by the Owner on behalf of the local authority. For an unclassified tourist furnished accommodation, the applicable rate (as of 01/01/2026) is 5% of the pre-tax cost per person per night, capped at €2.40 per person per night, plus the 10% additional departmental tax. The tax is calculated on an actual basis: number of liable persons × number of nights × rate. Minors and other persons exempted by law are not liable. The tourist tax is paid on arrival [option: or included in the balance].
